Happy September everyone! We made it! It is finally here, the NFL is back! Tonight is the first game of the regular season and it features the defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs and the Houston Texans. By now, all the rosters have been trimmed down to 53 men and each team’s depth chart has some clarity…hopefully. We’ve only got the one game tonight and the rest of the league plays Sunday with the exception of a double header on Monday night, but it still feels like Christmas!
Our Cincinnati Bengals don’t have their usual 1 p.m. start time this year, as they will be set to kick off the season at 4:05 against the Chargers on Sunday. We finally get to see Joe Burrow in his Bengal stripes showing off what made him famous in college. It should be a fun and exciting year!
No matter how you look at it, we have weathered the storm and are back to a somewhat normal state of life once again. Let’s hope it lasts the entire season now. So, kick back, crack open your favorite beverage and enjoy tonight’s season opener, because it’s only going to get better from here!
