On To Next Year

Aside from the 103 yard kick return for a touchdown and rookie wideout Tee Higgins posting a decent game of 5 catches for 44 yards with a touchdown without Burrow, the Bengals showed us all just what we were thinking. And what is that? That they are finished with 2020, like so many other people are, and are now focused on 2021 when they will have a hopefully healthy Joe Burrow back and a top 3 pick from the Draft. Sunday's game wasn't exciting or pretty in any way, proving how much they need Burrow under center.
With only five games left in the season, and the Bengals' lineup in its current state, it's easy to say that they will not win another game. This should hold true despite the fact that three of the final teams are Miami, Dallas, and Houston. With Burrow, those could have been potential wins without a doubt. But now, former Bengals qb Fitzpatrick will lead a playoff hopeful Dolphins team to victory in Miami this Sunday. And there will be a revenge game for the Red Rifle himself, Andy Dalton in two weeks when the Cowboys come calling.
Needless to say, things do not look good for the Bengals, and it is time for us all to have the mindset of "on to next year". But, as always, we will still root for our team this Sunday at 1 p.m. eastern time and Who-Dey!
