This abysmal season just keeps getting worse. Not that losing our number one draft pick, star quarterback Joe Burrow, wasn't bad enough, now our first round pick from just last year, Jonah Williams, gets put on the IR for the second time in his short career. Not to mention we haven't had Joe Mixon on the field since week 6, being placed on IR with a foot injury. The Bengals have also lost WR Auden Tate to shoulder surgery, and will require about 4 months recovery time. That's a lot of injuries to our offense.
Now let's talk about the embarrassing things that happened on the field this past Sunday. The bench clearing brawl that broke out between the Bengals and Dolphins was the icing on the cake for how the 2020 season has gone. And this, of course, came after Tyler Boyd had already gotten kicked out for fighting earlier in the game. Things are so bad I've already seen an article speculating about who should replace Zac Taylor as Bengals' head coach.
And finally, this coming weekend we have Andy Dalton, the Red Rifle himself, coming back to Cincy, this time as a member of the Dallas Cowboys, in a revenge game! The story writes itself and it doesn't go well for the hometown team. Good for Dalton though. He's a good dude and he deserved better from this organization. So, this Sunday's game at 1 p.m., while between two of the worst teams in the league, should be fun to watch for the locals.
So, keep pouring 'em strong and root, root, root for the home team. See you all again next week and Who-Dey!
