The Cincinnati Bearcats will be back in action finally, for the 2020 season, this Saturday afternoon as they take on Austin Peay at Nippert Stadium @12pm. With the Pac-12 not playing until mid November and the Big Ten not playing until the end of October, the Bearcats are currently ranked #13 in the country. It’ll be interesting to see how the rankings play out without some of the bigger schools from the Power 5.
Unfortunately for all of us, UC has decided to not allow any fans at their season opener to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus. The Bearcats’ second home game is on October 3rd, so we’ll see if things change by then. No matter what, we now have both college and professional football back in the Queen City! And, on a side note, how ’bout them Reds?! They’ve won 5 straight games and 2 series, and are in the playoff hunt with just 9 games left to play. It’s a really fun time for sports right now in Cincinnati!
